Wayne Premo calls this a "very impressive spot, incongruous with the surrounding topography." He says in the spring this is the most impressive waterfall in Iron County; in the summer, however, there is not much water.
This falls is fairly difficult to locate and requires a somewhat difficult walk to get to. It is located a little over 10 miles northeast of Crystal Falls. Go north out of Crystal Falls on Deer River Road until it veers into Spur Road. Spur will head northeast above the Michigamme Reservoir and then turn to the southeast and eventually cross Margeson Creek. Park just across the bridge and take the path leading due north (not the one headed east). In about a mile you should reach an impressive canyon. The waterfall is at the east end of the canyon.
