Grabbo Falls—Black River
Wayne Premo
This is a large and high waterfall in Gogebic County with two drops. It is difficult to photograph.
There are no signs, so you must be careful not to miss it. The walk is short and easy. Take Blackjack Road 1.5 miles north from US-2, near Ramsay (which is west of Wakefield). Go west toward the river at the second gas line clearing.
Walk downstream a few yards to the waterfall.
Ability to Locate: Fairly Easy
Access by Hiking: Easy
Beauty of Falls: Very Good
