Artisans Gallery & Clay Studio

-
Owner Jean Waggoner makes her own pottery in this working studio. Her small gallery shows original works in pottery, weaving, wood, and glass by 15 to 20 U.P. craftspeople. Some, like glassblower Rick Shapiro, and Donna Erickson (a rug weaver in the Finnish tradition) are well known to downstate buyers. Jean's own work has two looks: one-of-a-kind slab pieces in a contemporary style, and functional stoneware well suited to camps and cottages.
