KENTON
Region: Keweenaw Peninsula
In 1889, when the Duluth, South Shore, and Atlantic RR tracks finally reached this far, the surrounding white pine was cut and shipped out by this railroad line. Farming followed logging. Today, there remain a couple of bars, a store, and a trim Forest Service office on the north side of M-28.Return to Keweenaw Peninsula
