Mount Bohemia Ski Area
Just north of Lac La Belle, Mount Bohemia rises 900 feet above the village & lake. For serious skiers, it has a unique combination of attractive features: an extraordinarily abundant and reliable amount of snow (270+ inches a winter), thanks to Superior's lake effect, the best snow in the country
the lack of beginner runs. While it may be 500 feet or so less the highest Colorado slopes, it doesn't even have intermediate trails. The average pitch is 31°. Some trails are like waterfalls.

For the most adventurous, one side of Bohemia, called "Extreme Back Country," has cliffs that drop 40 feet.
