Phil's 550 Store

-
Get free maps of the Little Presque Isle area and trails at this unusual convenience store, fashioned along the lines of old-time country stores. Owner Phil Pearce, a Marquette native, always wanted to have this store, and now he does. He does welding and blacksmith work on and off the premises, sells locally made crafts, stocks an excellent selection of wines in his opinion, and carries smoked fish and worms. In summer he has sandwiches made up, and Jilbert's terrific ice cream cones.
