Passage Island Lighthouse

Passage Island Lighthouse, several miles off the island's east tip, is a one-of-a-kind lighthouse because its façade is made of red Jacobsville sandstone. The guide talks about the lighthouse, shipwrecks, and the island's unusual geology. The lighthouse interior is not open to the public. Monday and Friday afternoons. (—May, 2008)
