Some of the Upper Peninsula's best browsing is in this charming Arts & Crafts cottage. Here is an eclectic collection of old and new: pottery, antiques, good books, home accessories, handmade jeewelry, and folk art featuring local and regional artisans. Media include whimsical welded sculptures, weavings, carvings, Tiffany-style lamps, and handmade jewelry. Visit its web site (spell out the whole name with no spaces) and click to see the eclectic collection of old and new, and photos of the shop's transformation from a derelict haunted house. Stop by for a fresh cup of coffee or latte — made by the only commercial espresso machine in town. Owner Jackie McMullen and her sidekick Chris know the Porkies well and are happy to advise customers.
